SUMMARY:Watercolor Walrus with Faith Based Art Space
DESCRIPTION:Artists will learn how to draw a walrus using simple shapes. Watercolor painting techniques will be implemented to practice blending colors in a gradient\, outlining with paint and bleeding it into spaces by using water only. Paper snowflakes will be created to add a mixed media component to the background of this 18” x 24” work of art. SUMMARY:Inspiring Hand (Drawing Series) with Faith Based Art Space
DESCRIPTION:This project is meant for advanced artists who will learn how the brain impacts drawing and how to overcome left hemispheric dominance while creating realistic drawings of their hand through implementing the concept of negative space. Shading techniques will be implemented to add form and value to the finished work. Recommended ages middle school and above. \nStudents will use a picture plane device to successfully create a realistic 9” x 12” drawing of their hand.
